Orientation Day  
   
The Orientation Day introduces to graduating students the importance of early career planning and familiarizes them with the services provided by the Career Planning and Development Centre (CPDC). It is held at the beginning of the first academic term and includes presentation by guest speaker as well as staff of the CPDC covering job market update, pay trend, employment outlook, services, information and resources available in the CPDC.
 
       
  Career Seminar  
   
Career seminars are held from time to time to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge in job searching. In addition, seminars on different career fields such as banking, engineering, accounting, civil service etc. will also be organized so as to enhance studentsˇ¦ understanding of the various professions and industries.
 
       
  CEO Session  
   
Chief Executive Officers from renowned companies or organizations will be invited as guest speaker to share with the students his/her working experience as well as views on a particular topic or career field.
 
       
  Current Affairs Discussion Session  
   
Questions on current affairs are often asked in job interviews. The discussion session aims to promote students' awareness of current affairs, provide students with opportunities to practice the ways of developing and arguing one's point of view on topical issues.
 
       
  Mock Interview Workshop  
   
Mock interview workshops are held to provide students with opportunities to polish their interview skills through mock interviews. Employers and faculty members will be invited as interviewers and to give feedback to interviewees on areas of improvement. The workshops are golden opportunities for students to improve their interview techniques through practice.
