These include exploring career interest, competency development, research into career options, experiential learning and preparation for the job search. Developing relationships with alumni and employers so as to provide the latest job market information as well as to explore job opportunities for students.
 
 
Developing relationships with departmental teaching staff so as to expand our career education efforts.
 
 
Organizing career guidance programmes to enable students to research various career options and better prepare them for their future careers.
 
 
Bringing in professionals from different industries to run experience-sharing sessions so that students can learn about different career opportunities directly from the industry practitioners.
 
 
Lining up workplace visits to enable students to have a better understanding of the working environment before entering the workplace.
 
 
Providing online career planning and guidance programmes tips to offer 24-hour career guidance to students.
 
 
Arranging organizations to conduct on-campus career talks and career fairs so that students can explore career options.
 
 
Providing job search skills training programmes and workshops to better equip students for the job search process. Typical programme topics include résumé writing, mock interview workshops and social skills & business etiquette workshops.
 
 
Providing full-time and part-time job information to students through the electronic network.
 
 
Conducting an annual employment survey of graduates.
 
 
Conducting individual and group career counseling.
 
 
Organizing a series of Current Affairs Sharing Sessions to provide opportunities for students to discuss current affairs in preparing for the interviews.
 
  Organizing internship programme for students to experience the working culture in the Mainland China. (The China Career Development Award Programme).
