About Internship Programmes

a. What is an internship?
An internship is an opportunity for students to have career related training before serving the community and provide employers with an early testing opportunity for identifying suitable candidates to serve their organizations.

b. How long should an internship last?
The length and time involved for an internship varies according to your needs. Some companies arrange the internship length within 8 weeks for the sake of administrative convenience.
Our students are available in summer time, around May to August.

c. Do I have to pay an intern?
Internship providers are welcomed to give a nominal stipend to the interns. (Reference: the stipend offered by the companies participating in our China Career Development Award Programme 2004 averages HK$6,000/project(6-8 weeks))
