Recruitment of Student Ambassadors

 

Hongkong Post (HKP) will launch a “LOVE ME POST” Christmas Promotion Campaign during the period of 1 December 2009 to 3 January 2010 (weekdays, weekends and public holidays inclusive) and a “Concept Store” will be set up at Harbour City to heighten the awareness and usage of HKP’s core services and products among the public. HKP is recruiting Student Ambassadors to assist in the operation of the Concept Store on a part-time basis. Please see the job specifications as follows.

 

Requirements:

-          Local tertiary students of any discipline

-          Preferably with customer service or sales experience, but not a must

-         Good command of spoken Cantonese, English and Putonghua

 

Job Duties:

-          Promote 2010 Hong Kong Stamps

-          Encourage visitors to join the “Local Standing Order Service”

-          Assist the smooth running of Heartwarming Stamps Customised Service (HWSCS) Photo-taking station, e.g. taking photo and data processing

-          Introduce HKP’s products and services to visitors

 

Service Session:

-          Half day shift on weekdays (12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.)

-          Whole day shift on weekends/public holidays (12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. including one hour for lunch without honorarium)

-          HKP has the final decision to assign the service sessions to Student Ambassadors in terms of number of hours

Salary:

-          HK$50 per hour
